The adoption of technologies in the mining sector has evolved and taken on different perspectives in recent years. Today, it is a topic that aims not only to improve operational efficiency but also to address environmental and social concerns, making mining more responsible and sustainable.
In this article, we'll discuss how technology can play a crucial role in adapting and improving the repair process in the mining sector, covering its various aspects and implementing it.
In our experience implementing Aisoncore hand in hand with our clients, we have detected different ways to successfully integrate technology into the repairables process. It is important to consider that the first step in this integration is not simply adopting a technology platform, but involves a deep understanding of the process and also how this can impact the results.
At the level of the repair process, there are three main focuses within which we detect that the maximum value of the Aisoncore implementation is deployed:

Online documentation (Failure Reports, Quotations, Purchase Orders, Photographs, etc.): Centralized information generates greater use and facilitates technological adoption by standardizing daily tasks on a consolidated platform.
Intuitive design: At this point the user experience design is a key part in faster technological adoptions, as it generates less frustration in the user and therefore faster learning speed.
Report generator with orders in process: Having visibility of all orders pending approval helps to speed up the repairables process, this is where direct collaboration between buyers and suppliers can be evidenced through the software.
Dedicated support by a Customer Success: Having an expert support during the implementation process is the basis for generating security when using the platform and concrete progress based on objectives.
Fast and timely responses: The quick response when users generate queries or tickets makes them feel part of the process.
